What is a bale breaker used for?
The rotary bale breaker machine has been designed and manufactured to break up bales mainly composed of plastic materials. This machine does not shred material but it gets it back to bulk in order to feed the recovery plant in a constant and unform way. The Bale Breaker machine serves for breaking open compressed bales of PET-bottles, waste paper, residual waste, plastic waste and many other recyclables. Then the unraveled and metered material is transported downstream to subsequent treatment processes. The Bale Opener BB does not crush but loosen the material for a most effective material sorting.
