Introduction of Baling Wire

Baling lines are essential in the recycling industry. In short, strapping wires are used to securely and neatly secure bales of recyclable material, which then proceed through the recycling process. There are different types and styles of baling wires currently used in the industry. In this article, we will introduce how baling silk is used and what the different types are.

How are baling lines used in the recycling industry?

Manufacturers and dealers generate a lot of recyclable waste materials. Whether it's cardboard, plastic, paper or metal, using recycling equipment like a baler can help businesses efficiently organize, store and prepare this waste for recycling. That's what baling wire is for.

Baling lines are sent in through baling machines to tie up the waste. Packing your recyclables makes it easier to load waste onto a trailer for transport. Plus, it helps keep your facilities cleaner and more organized. Seems simple enough, right? So, there are actually a lot of things to consider when choosing strapping wire.

What are the different types of baling yarn available?

Shijiazhuang zhao Meng import and export Trade Co., Ltd. engaged in galvanized bandaging wire. The factory is located in Tianjin, quite close to tianjin Port, which is one of the largest ports in northern China and can provide convenient services to various customers around the world.

Adhering to the principle of "quality first, continuous improvement, sincere service".Choose us from a wide range of baling wire manufacturers and you won't regret it.

There are usually three main types of baling silk in the recycling industry: single ring baling tape, box silk and stump silk. Each type of packing wire is available in different diameters, lengths and finishes.

Single-Loop Bale Ties

Single ring strapping belt for vertical and horizontal balers. These straps hold the bales in place after the recycled material has passed through the baler. Single loop bales are made by hand by passing the loose end through the loop to secure the wire to the bale.

Box-type wire

If your business uses automatic strapping balers, box wire is a good choice. The box wire is packaged into a continuous wire length. The wires are fed into an automatic strapping machine. This is great for manufacturers or distributors who produce a lot of waste because it helps save time. The single ring binder is manual feeding, each bundle is manual binding, box wire continuous feeding, workflow is more efficient.

Stump wire

For handling larger amounts of waste, the stump line is your best bet and has very large spools. These spools are automatically fed, similar to box wire, but are replaced less frequently due to the larger size of the spools. For example, you'll find stump steel wire used in a double sheep baler, which has a single wire feed. These balers are handling a lot of scrap and the stump line helps prevent extra downtime caused by frequent spool changes.

Galvanized with black annealed baling wire

Another choice you will need to make is whether to use galvanized or black annealed baling wire. Galvanized baling lines are sometimes referred to as "clean lines" and are often our suppliers' most popular choice. Galvanized wire is resistant to corrosion and is a better choice for fixing certain types of waste materials.

For example, let's say you're packing old soda cans that still have a little residual liquid (which is very common). Over time, excess liquid can negatively affect the wire, so choosing galvanized wire that is less susceptible to corrosive elements is the best choice. It is also a better option for storing hay bales outdoors for similar reasons.

Black annealed packing wire, on the other hand, is more flexible than galvanized wire, which can come in handy depending on your purpose. Some materials re-expand more easily than others when removed from the baling machine, so having a little extra flexibility can help prevent wire failure. You may hear people refer to the black pyrolytic wire as "dirty". That's because it has a light layer of oil that helps resist corrosion. Black annealed baling wire rusts during outdoor use and storage, which is why it is important to consider your specific application when choosing the type of wire you want to use.

Packing line gauge

The last major factor you need to consider is choosing the right wire specification for the material you are packing. Normally, we sell bales in sizes ranging from 10 to 14. The low gauge wire (10-ga.) is thicker and stronger than the high gauge wire (14-GA.). When you purchase packing wire from the company, our team will take the guesswork out of choosing the right specification of wire, so you can rest assured that the packing wire your team is using is safe and powerful for your application.
